The Day of Ueno

Post by Lee_Takamoto on Mon Oct 20, 2014 8:41 am

Spoiler:

Ueno is a vast park filled with amusements for all those in the area to see and enjoy. There is the National Museum that holds many wonderful things, a Zoo with its many exotic animals and a small one-hundred yen amusement park that is busy as usual at this time of day. But one of the most notable things are the cherry-blossoms that are blooming at this time of year.

Just outside the park is Ameya-yokocho, a bustling street market filled with tiny shops and vendors' carts. Each are selling many things, grilled mochi wrapped in seaweed and brushed with pungent soy sauce. Among this crowd was a single blue haired individual that was walking midst the crowd. He wore his jacket on his shoulders and a scarf wrapped around his neck and flowing just behind his back.

He was more well dressed than normal, as if he was going to some sort of convention or meet with a very important client. While his motives and destination were unknown, one thing was for certain...he was looking for something.

Lady Fumei Held her Paracel over her left shoulder, as she sun beat down. Her black hair often intensified the heat on her from it, and it was not kind to her painted face. She needed to look her best today, as some of her geisha were performing at the large amusement park, known as Ueno.

Lady Fumei had seen them perform a million times over, and decided to wander in place of watching. Even the special cherry-blossom performance was nothing new. She herself worn the traditional 5 inch high sandals, her hair done up and had the beautiful decoration in it, as well as the painted white face and red lips. The rest of her made it apparent she was not a geisha herself. Her Kimono was slit up the left thigh and her obi was tied in a bow. A decent amount of cleavage was showing and neck. All things a geisha would never do.

She entered the park and began to look about. Many people wondered around, in all shapes, sizes, and tastes. One, however, stood out. A man with blue hair and seemed like a sort of challenge. All challenges needed foreplay from conversation... So Lady Fumei needed to have his attention... Which wasn't exactly a challenge for her. She made her way past him, slowly, and looked over her shoulder at him for a moment, flashing a coy smile before continuing to a table not too far away, sitting so she was not facing him, keeping the paracel on her shoulder, but swung her legs to the side, in view, crossing them like a lady, but all of her right leg was exposed to the upper thigh.

The man continued through the shifting people, each person trying to get somewhere else while other only seemed to get in the way. But there were pockets here and there where open space was accepted or the occasional person stood out enough they they were not touched by the crowd. Be it because they were seemingly brutish in appearance or had something that had a threatening, they were apart from the crowd.

One such creature was among them that, some way, the blue eyed male did not see till it was within arms reach. He had stopped mid-walk, his body coming to a halt and only turning to follow the trail that the woman left behind. She stood out, that much was for certain but it was strange that not enough attention. He stood in place, getting bumped by a few on goers but nothing enough to demand his attention. He would watch as she sat down and his eyes shot to her legs as one shifted its way over the other, as if a flag dropping to start a grand race, it was a signal he was all to familiar with.

Instinct took the wheel as he began to stride to the Paracel and only coming to a stop at the opposing chair, letting his hand come to rest upon it. "Is this seat taken?" Generic and forward enough for a start.

Fumei only had to wait for a moment before the blue head of hair was in front of her. She put on a coy smile, like that of a fox. It seems that nature had taken its course and he had noticed her. She leaned forward and slightly turned her head to the side, keeping her eyes on him, to show more... Neck.

She reached her hand up her sleeve and retrieved her long pipe, shaped like a dragon. "That all depends on you." She replied, with her voice as soft as velvet. Her long black fingernails wrapped around the midsection of the elegant pipe, like claws as she lit the tobacco and took in a breath of smoke. She tilted her head back slightly and released it, in an almost sexual way.

The man's attention went to obvious area of the woman as if forcefully attracted. The legs of the woman were almost porcelain in appearance, as if a touch might smear an idol. This was something that the man looked for in any woman. Her voice even gave way to a bit of a shock though it wasn't unexpected. It was almost as if the voice had a physical feeling to it, something he could actually reach out and take hold of.

His eyes would move down to her hands as they took hold of a pipe that she drew out as she told him her answer. He would laugh lightly and place his hand tightly on the back of the chair as he would pick it up lightly to pull it back and sit himself down, bringing his leg up and placing his ankle on the knee of his other leg. He would watch her as she would take in a bit of smoke and his eyes would lock onto her neck as it showed itself.

"It is a fine day to be out, wouldn't you agree miss...?" He would move his hands down and place them onto his leg that sat across him now as he would glance off to the side every so often to see if he could see some sort of lumbering brute or potential male counter part to the woman that sat across from him.

Lady Fumei tilted her parcel back slightly and she looked up at the beating sun. The natural enemy of her fine makeup. She quickly resumed hiding beneath the shade of her umbrella. She narrowed her eyes, as she glanced at the pipe in her hand. She turned it over and tapped a bit of the ash out onto the ground by her feet.

She raised the pipe just before her crimson painted lips. A slightly proud grin slid across those lips, as she formally introduced herself. "My name is Lady Fumei." She nodded at the sakura performance off to the side. "I run the Ochaya that the geisha were scouted from." She let the pipe come into contact with her lips, and took in an even breath. "And you are?" She continued, before releasing the smoke.

He had repositioned himself in a way that made it look like he was quite focused, like he was in some sort of chess match. One would have to wait and see if that's what it was like. A challenge for the heart of a mysterious woman.

The blue haired man would pause slightly at the sound of her name which he could only assume to be a first or last name but would go with simply calling her by the full title so not to come off as rude or ignorant. He would then turn his head in the direction that she gestured and spoke of the Ochaya. "The tea house, I have had the pleasure of finding myself there from time to time. An exquisite experience every time I might add, you have my compliments." It was then that she spoke of what his own name was to which he would reply in kind.

"Kazuma, Ai Kazuma." He would close his eyes and bow his head ever so slightly with a kind enough smile. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Lady Fumei." He would straighten his posture against the back of his chair "Are you taking a day off from the hustle and bustle of work to enjoy the company of your possible patrons?"
